What better way to appreciate and understand color in nature than to capture it in photographs?
When I am not busy with research, I spend virtually all of my free time outside taking photos. I focus mostly on wildlife photography (in part because I document every vertebrate species I encounter), but I do love a good landscape every now and then. As you might expect based on my research focus, I am a bit biased toward brightly-colored animals... but I firmly believe every organism has something interesting going on with respect to color!
At the bottom of this page, I have included a sampling of some of my favorite shots. If you like what you see, many of my photos are for sale as prints and other forms of decor on my Fine Art America profile. Thanks for looking!
